Overview

BCW-PVC is a bamboo charcoal board faced with a PVC decorative film. The film covers wood grains, solid colors and soft textile looks, wipes clean with a damp cloth and keeps a consistent tone from batch to batch, which matters on projects built out over several months. Sheets are 1220 x 2800 mm, and 5 mm, 8 mm and 9 mm cores come off the shelf.

The board is specified for apartment and volume housing fit-out, rental and serviced apartments, shop and office partition walls, and cabinet door production. It cuts with woodworking tools, bonds with construction adhesive over plaster or cement board, and needs no painting or sealing on site. Stock colors ship in 15-20 working days from a 300 m2 minimum.

Installation

Let boards acclimatize for 24 hours, then check the substrate is dry, flat and free of dust or grease.

Cut with a fine-tooth blade, keep the protective film on and mark the grain direction before fixing.

Bond with construction adhesive at 300 mm bead centres, or clip panels to a batten grid for access.

Press each board home, leave a 2-3 mm edge gap, fit trims and peel the film once the wall is done.

Packing & Loading

Boards are wrapped in PE film, stacked face to face on plywood pallets and protected with corner boards.
Each pallet is labeled with model, color code, quantity, batch number and gross weight for site records.
A 20 ft container holds about 340 m2 of 8 mm board in 2800 mm length, depending on pallet height.

Loading & documents

We photograph every container during loading and send the packing list before the vessel sails.

Bamboo Charcoal Wood Veneer - PVC Film — Product FAQ

Choose PVC when cost per square meter and stock color availability lead the decision, such as volume housing and rental apartments. Choose PET when walls take heavy cleaning or direct light and must hold their color longer.

Film is ordered from the same production batch for a project, and the batch number is recorded on every pallet. For phased delivery, tell us the project name so later shipments can be matched to the original batch where stock allows.

Yes for normal interior use. The core is moisture resistant and the film is sealed, so kitchens and bathroom dry areas are fine. In rooms that stand empty without ventilation, leave a small gap at the edges and avoid direct water contact.

Use 5 mm for wall cladding and cabinet faces, 8 mm for feature walls, doors and general fit-out, and 9 mm where a stiffer panel or a heavier hinge is needed. All three share the same film range and lead time.
