Overview

ALT-TRIM is the accessory range that closes a wall panel installation: edge trims, internal and external corners, end caps, joint covers and shadow gap profiles. Every piece is 6063 aluminium with a 0.8-1.2 mm wall, extruded to suit our panel thickness, and film-laminated in the same finish as the panel it is sold with, in 2900 mm and 3000 mm lengths.

The reason this range exists is colour control. When panels come from one supplier and trims from another, the two are laminated from different film lots, so even with the same colour code a small shade and gloss difference opens up along every corner. That difference is invisible in a sample book and very visible on a finished wall in raking light. We laminate panels and trims from the same film roll and batch number, label them together, and ship them in one container, so the joint disappears.

Installation

Check the panel thickness and joint detail, then select the matching edge trim, corner and end cap before cladding.

Fix the base and edge trims first, keeping them plumb and on the same plane as the finished panel face.

Install panels into the trims, leaving the specified expansion gap at every joint and corner.

Fit external and internal corners and end caps last, then peel the protective film and clean the profile.

Packing & Loading

Profiles are packed in paper or PE sleeves per colour, with end caps on both ends to protect the laminated face.
Bundles are labelled with profile code, colour batch and quantity so trims can be matched to the correct panel pallet.
Lengths of 2900 mm and 3000 mm load into 20 ft and 40 ft HQ containers, with a loading plan issued per order.

Loading & documents

We photograph every container during loading and send the packing list before the vessel sails.

Aluminum Matching Trim — Product FAQ

Wood grain film is printed in runs, and each run has its own shade and gloss. Two suppliers using the same colour name may be using different runs, so corners and edges read slightly darker or lighter than the field. Same batch means same film roll.

Most projects need a starter or base trim, an edge trim on the finished ends, internal and external corners, and end caps for the top. Send us your panel thickness and joint detail and we will list the exact profiles and quantities.

Yes. The body is 6063-T5 aluminium with a 0.8-1.2 mm wall, which resists impact and does not rust. The laminated film is UV-stabilised; on exterior work we recommend sealing cut ends with a matching touch-up pen.

MOQ is 500 m per profile per colour, and profiles can be combined in one order to reach a full container. Lead time is 15-25 working days after deposit and colour confirmation, loading from Shenzhen or Guangzhou.
