Overview

BCW-MR is a bamboo charcoal wall board finished with a cured high gloss film. The face reflects light and color at a gloss level of about 92 units, so it reads as polished stone or lacquered timber rather than glass. Sheets measure 1220 x 2800 mm in 8 mm, with 5 mm and 9 mm cores for door work, and every panel ships with a peel-off protective film.

The finish is used on retail and showroom walls, lift car interiors, hotel reception and bar fronts, and compact apartments where reflected light makes a small room feel larger. Panels are bonded with full adhesive coverage over a flat substrate so the face stays true, and cuts are closed with matching trims. A soft cloth and neutral cleaner keep the gloss.

The cured film holds a 92 unit gloss, so walls reflect light, widen narrow spaces and read as polished stone rather than paint.

Flat, No Waviness

A rigid 8 mm core keeps the reflective surface flat, because even a 1 mm dip shows up as a distorted reflection on gloss.

Installation

Check the substrate is flat within 2 mm over 2 m, because a gloss face reveals every hollow.

Cut from the back with a fine-tooth blade, keep the protective film on and support the panel fully.

Spread adhesive over the whole back with a 6 mm notched trowel so no voids sit behind the face.

Press the panel home with a roller, fit matching trims, then peel the film and polish the surface.

Packing & Loading

Gloss faces are covered by the factory film, separated by foam and stacked back to back on pallets.
Each pallet is strapped and labeled with model, gloss level, color code, quantity and batch number.
A 20 ft container holds about 300 m2 of 8 mm gloss board in 2800 mm length, depending on packing.

We photograph every container during loading and send the packing list before the vessel sails.

Bamboo Charcoal Wood Veneer - Mirror — Product FAQ

The cured film measures about 92 gloss units. It resists normal scuffs from cleaning and trolley traffic, but like any high gloss surface it can be marked by grit or metal edges, so we recommend felt pads and soft cloths for cleaning.

Wipe the panel with a soft microfiber cloth and a neutral cleaner diluted in water, then dry it. Avoid abrasive pads, scouring powder and solvent cleaners, which dull the cured film and leave permanent streaks.

It is a wall and door finish, not a flooring product, and it is not recommended for shower enclosures or external facades. On floors or in direct water contact, gloss will scratch and lose its reflection quickly.

Panels are bonded with full spread construction adhesive over a flat substrate, so no fasteners show. For service areas, a concealed clip system on a batten grid can hold the panel and still allow removal later.
