Overview

ALT-SK is our aluminium skirting and corner family for interior wall panel work: skirting in 60 mm and 80 mm heights, internal and external corners covering panel build-ups from 12 to 25 mm, and matching end caps, supplied in 2900 mm lengths. The body is 6063-T5 aluminium with a 0.8-1.2 mm wall and a Class A2 non-combustible core, so it suits hotel, office, retail and apartment projects.

Skirting is where colour mismatch shows first. It sits directly under the panel face, both surfaces catch the same light, and the join runs the full length of the corridor, so a trim laminated from a different film batch reads as a separate grey band at floor level. We laminate skirting and corners from the same film roll and colour batch as the wall panel, and label them together, so the wall runs to the floor in one colour. Fixing is straightforward: direct screw fixing, or a screw-fixed base rail with a clip-on cover for a clean, fastener-free line.

Product Features

Skirting That Matches the Wall

Skirting is laminated from the same film batch as the panels, so the line at floor level reads as one colour instead of two similar greys.

Two Heights, One Profile Family

60 mm and 80 mm skirtings share the same face detail and accessories, so a project can mix heights between corridors and guest rooms.

Corners From 12 to 25 mm

Internal and external corner profiles cover panel build-ups from 12 to 25 mm, closing cut edges without visible sealant lines.

A2 Core and Simple Fixing

The 6063 aluminium body is Class A2 non-combustible and fixes by direct screw fixing or a base rail with clip-on cover.

Installation

Measure the wall run and panel thickness, then cut skirting and corner profiles to length with a fine-tooth blade.

Fix the base rail or skirting body to the wall at 400-600 mm centres, keeping the top edge level along the run.

Clip the cover onto the base rail, or fix the skirting directly, then fit internal and external corners on site.

Fit end caps at every stop, wipe the profiles clean and peel the protective film after the panels are up.

Packing & Loading

Profiles are wrapped in protective film per colour and packed in bundles with rigid end protection for transport.
Each bundle is labelled with profile code, colour batch and quantity to match the wall panel delivery.
2900 mm lengths are loaded into 20 ft and 40 ft HQ containers, with a loading plan and weight list per order.

Loading & documents

We photograph every container during loading and send the packing list before the vessel sails.

Aluminum Skirting and Corner — Product FAQ

Skirting sits directly under the panel and both catch the same light, so a small shade difference becomes a visible band at floor level along the whole corridor. We laminate skirting and panels from the same film roll so the wall reads as one colour.

60 mm suits apartments, guest rooms and light commercial interiors where a slimmer line is wanted. 80 mm suits hotel corridors, offices and public areas where the skirting takes more impact and a stronger base line is preferred.

Internal and external corners cover panel build-ups from 12 to 25 mm, which covers most wall panel and drywall combinations. Give us the panel thickness and corner radius and we will confirm the correct profile.

MOQ is 500 m per profile per colour, and different profiles and colours can be combined in one order. Lead time is 15-25 working days after deposit and colour approval, loading from Shenzhen or Guangzhou.
