Outdoor work fails for one of two reasons: water gets trapped behind the cladding, or the surface chalks and fades within a season. We design exterior schemes around a ventilated sub-frame, so any water that enters drains out at the bottom instead of sitting against the wall.
Flexible stone and PU stone give the stone look at 3–6 kg/m² rather than 60 kg/m², which means the sub-frame and the fixings can be much lighter. For sun-shading and screens, aluminum grille is the standard answer because it is non-combustible and holds its shape.
